The U.S. Is $22 Trillion in Debt by Adeline Atlas

Welcome back to Soul Renovation, I’m Adeline Atlas — 7-times published author.
Definition:
Your credit score is not your character. It’s not your worth. It’s not a reflection of your intelligence, integrity, or value. It’s a man-made ranking system designed by a nation that can’t even manage its own accounts. Let’s talk about it.
The United States is $22 trillion in debt — and they’ve got the audacity to try and give me a credit score? A little three-digit number to decide if I’m trustworthy, responsible, “worthy” of access? Meanwhile, the same system that created that score is drowning in debt, default threats, and economic instability of its own making. Please.
Let’s be real — the credit score isn’t about responsibility. It’s about control. It's about measuring how well you play inside a system that was never built for you to win. A system that prints money on demand, bails out billion-dollar corporations, and moves numbers on a screen to “adjust” inflation — but wants to judge you for a missed payment from 2017? They want to talk about your $10,000 mistake while they’re trillions in the red?
Worry about yourself, America.
Because here’s the real truth — most people are financially stressed not because they’re irresponsible, but because they’re undervalued and overburdened. Because wages haven’t matched inflation. Because rent costs more than a mortgage. Because groceries are now a luxury expense. And in the middle of that, they want to grade you? As if you’re a failed project in their failed economy?
Let me say this loud for the ones still blaming themselves: You are not your credit score. You are not your student loans. You are not the late bill you had to juggle while you healed. You are not the penalty fee that kept you up at night. You are not your financial trauma — especially not when that trauma was created by a culture that taught you nothing about money except how to spend it.
Your value is not up for numeric validation.
And your worth is not on trial.
The system grades you to keep you obedient. To keep you compliant. To keep you inside a loop that punishes mistakes and withholds access. Meanwhile, the actual government responsible for managing trillions can’t balance their own ledger. Make it make sense.
This is why financial sovereignty is spiritual warfare.
Because to heal your relationship with money in a system that wants you enslaved by it?
That’s rebellion.
To build wealth while being underpaid, overtaxed, and algorithmically exploited?
That’s revolutionary.
So yes — pay your bills. Build credit if you want to. Play the game with strategy — but don’t internalize the score. Because it was never about your integrity — it was about their insecurity that you might wake up and realize you don’t need them to tell you what you’re worth.
You’re the asset.
You’re the value.
You’re the resource.
The system? It’s in default — spiritually, financially, and morally.
So the next time they try to define you by a number, just smile and say:
“Worry about yourself.”
