OBEDIENCE TRAINING
How does cancel culture play into obedience training?
Let me break down why cancel culture is so dangerous and why the mass media relentlessly pushes it. Cancel culture is not just cancel culture. It is way bigger than just taking down a few celebrities here and there. The celebrities are just the red herrings. It’s not about them – they are simply the example that is being made in order to drive the objectives home in order to create sustained obedience. Remember the mass media's main role is to sustain and maintain all that was gained from formal education.
Exercise:
Close your eyes – imagine a group of teenagers in the 1970s. They are hanging out, having a good time. They all go to the store to get milkshakes – none of them wear their seatbelt. Why would they? It's normal not to wear it at this point in time. And they have a wonderful time, and life goes on. Fast forward – these same teenagers are now in their fifties and it's illegal not to wear your seatbelt. And the JUDGEMENT police roll up and prosecute ONE OF THEM – not even the entire group – they single out one person to group shame and publicly embarrass. Not even worst of all – in this example, you won't see the news go on and on about why not wearing a seat belt is a bad idea or what can be done about it to resolve this societal issue, getting all our society's attention on resolving and searching for a solution for this defect. Instead – no – they are going to choose the one individual and talk about all the wrong that PERSON did. It is public shaming, aka hanging. It is an extreme act of judgment.
