Cost was another major reason. In the past, I had vision. I had creative direction. I had the intelligence. But I didn’t always have the budget. I watched so many of my best concepts die because I couldn’t afford the production, or the travel, or the photography. I wasn’t locked out because I lacked talent—I was locked out because I couldn’t pay the entry fee. And that kept me out of rooms I should’ve been leading. Now, I create high-end content that looks expensive—but I didn’t have to spend a dime on location, lighting, or crew. AI doesn’t just cut costs. It cuts gatekeepers.
