We create what we speak. So when we say out loud that we will do something and then we do not do it - we literally train ourselves to think we can not rely on ourselves.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you tell yourself, you will get up at 6 am and do yoga, and then you DECIDE not to - you have taught yourself you are unreliable.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then the next time you go to say something to yourself about trying something new or excelling, your mind says, 'well, i didn't do that last thing i said i was going to do, and every time i say i am going to do something, i don't… so i probably won't this time either. So what's the point in even trying.'
