Who said it was 'wrong' to want to prove people WRONG about you? In many, and i mean many (basically all of them) of the books I read, they always say the same thing.... you have to do it for yourself.

YES, do it for yourself. WIN FOR YOURSELF. AND RESPECT yourself enough to show people how WRONG they were about you if they ever labelled you or made you feel less than worthy.

There is no shame in your game if you wanna step up and show the world what you are made of after it told you, you weren't. If you ask me that's a serious stand for self-love for one's self. SHINE ON!
