The first Michelin restaurant of the London leg of my trip was Helene Darroze at The Connaught Hotel. With 2 Michelin stars, Helene Darroze is a French restaurant, with southwest fresh flavors. Voted London’s number 1 restaurant.⠀
🍷 Menu - I had yet to experience a menu quite like this! Talk about getting creative; the restaurant has designed a board game to act as the menu. It is a dish sized piece of wood with small white marble balls sitting in all the slots, on each ball is the name of main, appetizer, or dessert. You are to remove the balls you do not wish to try until you have selected your 5, 7, or 9 courses. The balls left on the board will be your tasting menu. The waiter will then come and rearrange your choices in the best order for flavors. ⠀
