Where does the saying "a tortured artist" come from?

It is a description of a soul wanting to be expressed. It is an artist who knows something lives inside them, and it does not let them feel at ease until it is brought to life.

We are all meant for greatness. We all have something exceptional to do, whether we know it or not. Don’t think those who know it have it easier than those who don't. It is a form of suffering until it is expressed because it is meant to come out.

You know if you are made for greatness in life. It is just a feeling that you have. It isn’t like a calling. There’s no way to explain it other than as a tortured artist. When you know it, you just know it.

An artist with something inside of them will not feel true soul alignment until that 'something' is brought to life. Think of soul alignment as your final form—and to be in final form, your creation needs to be complete. Your creation could be a family, a career goal, a business you build, or a personal achievement with your health. Your full expression will be unique depending on what you are meant to create.
