The short answer is yes — offering a "last chance" opportunity can be a very smart move. But it has to be done with integrity, not manipulation. A "last chance" offer gives your audience a clear deadline, a clear benefit, and a final window to join or purchase at the current price before it increases. It rewards fast action, respects those who have been thinking about buying, and creates momentum without pressure.
When you give people a true final opportunity, you’re doing two things. First, you are honoring the loyalty of those who have been following you but hadn’t moved yet. You're saying, "If you’ve been sitting on the fence, here’s your sign." Second, you are mentally closing a chapter for yourself and your brand. You're signaling, "We are moving to a higher standard. If you want in at this level, now is the time."
The key to a successful last chance offer is being extremely clear about the deadline. You must communicate exactly when the current pricing will expire and what the new price will be. No vague language like "prices going up soon." Be direct: "Current rates end Friday at midnight. After that, prices increase to [new price]."
You can also sweeten the last chance window by offering a small bonus — not a discount, but an extra. For example, you could add a bonus call, an extra template, or a limited-time training to anyone who joins before the price goes up. This rewards quick action without devaluing your offer.
And most importantly, when the deadline hits, honor it. Do not extend it, fudge it, or keep the old pricing alive quietly. Once you say the price is going up, the price must go up. That builds trust and authority with your audience. If you cave once, they will never take future deadlines seriously again.
