Lock In or Clock In — Choose Your Cost by Adeline Atlas
May 20, 2025
Welcome back to Soul Renovation. I’m Adeline Atlas — 7-times published author.
To "lock in" means to fully commit — mentally, spiritually, energetically — to the life you're meant to build. It means no more back and forth. No more playing small. No more halfway energy. Because the moment you don’t lock in on your vision, the world will hand you a role in theirs. And you'll spend your life clocking in to their system, not building your legacy.
Let’s talk about this warning shot of a quote: “The cost of not locking in is spending the rest of your life clocking in.”
You know what that means, right? If you don’t get serious about your goals, your vision, your frequency — you will rent your life out to someone else’s. That’s what “clocking in” really is. Not just physically at a job — but mentally, spiritually, energetically clocking into routines, roles, and responsibilities that don’t belong to your higher self.
Because if you don’t decide what your time is for, someone else will.
If you don’t own your day — they’ll schedule it.
If you don’t lead your energy — they’ll drain it.
If you don’t prioritize your dream — you’ll be hired to build someone else’s.
That’s the trade.
That’s the cost.
And too many people pay it with their entire lifetime.
You think procrastination is harmless? It’s expensive.
You think waiting for the “right moment” is strategic? It’s disguised avoidance.
You think staying in that job “just until…” is safe? It’s spiritually draining you by the day.
Because here’s the truth most don’t want to hear: You’re either locking in… or clocking in.
There is no in-between.
Locking in means discipline.
It means saying no to distractions.
It means turning down brunch invites because your empire needs your energy.
It means getting clear — then going all in.
And when you do that? You stop surviving and start shaping.
You stop reacting and start designing.
You stop hustling for scraps and start commanding the table.
But most people don’t want to lock in.
They want cute vision boards but no real execution.
They want freedom but still want to scroll for hours.
They want luxury but refuse to move through discomfort.
And then wonder why their dreams never showed up.
The truth? They never locked in long enough for God to deliver.
