I do my own thing. You won't see me everywhere with everyone, and you won't see me with just anyone, either. I'm selective with my circle and who I go around, on purpose. I'm not down with the gossip; I'm not here for the bullshit. My desires don't include wasting my time worrying about everyone else's business when I've got my own to worry about and my own shit that needs to get done. I've got real goals that aren't going to meet themselves. I've got real dreams that won't work unless I do. My life and my accomplishments are serious to me.
I'm building an empire, and it's going to get messy. Empires aren't built overnight, and they certainly aren't built on rainbows and wishes. The more you decide to put yourself out into the world, take that step forward, and be unapologetically authentic, the more you have to let go of the notion of being liked. When you build your purpose and put yourself out there, you are asking for a spotlight to be shined on you, and some will like what you are doing, and some will not. Some will congratulate you, join in, and show support. Others will criticize you, drain you, or even use you.
Your purpose is your baby. It can't talk for itself; it cannot defend itself. It is your job to protect it, nurture it, and evolve it—regardless of what anyone else thinks. It is up to you that you decide for yourself where you are going and that you are going to get there..
