Facing False Expectations and Embracing Reality

There’s a false expectation when you read law of attraction or manifestation books. You think you’re going to make a vision board and ask for this huge life, and it’s going to be a wonderful, beautiful experience the whole way. That’s not often how it happens. You can only recognize this looking back, but after reflecting, it’s clear that the more I ask for and the larger my asks, the messier things get.

I want you to know this will happen. When it does, know it is part of the process. Expect it to happen, prepare for it, and when it arrives, handle it like a champ. It can only derail you if you don’t see it coming.

I remind myself when chaos comes: I chose this. I did the work, I passed the levels, and I asked for a larger life. It’s time to allow and surrender, letting go of the old for the new to take over.

Ever heard the saying, “New level, new devil?” It’s an accurate saying.
