This exercise is designed to help you gain clarity on the challenges you have faced and to distinguish between hurdles (challenges to be overcome) and resistance (signs that may indicate a need for redirection). By identifying misaligned attachments that may be creating resistance, you can start to navigate your path more effectively and align with your true purpose. Use this chart to map out your thoughts and insights.

Instructions

  1. Check In with Yourself: Reflect on your recent experiences. What challenges have you faced and successfully overcome? Are there any current hurdles or resistance you’re dealing with?
  2. Distinguish Between Hurdles and Resistance: Consider whether the challenges you face are hurdles (meant to be overcome to move forward) or resistance (signs you may need to change direction or let go).
  3. Identify Misaligned Attachments: Think about any people, situations, or goals you feel attached to but may not truly align with your deeper purpose. These could be creating resistance in your life.
