General Rules for the Game
There are three general rules for playing the Game of Life:
- Always put yourself first.
- Do your part.
- See it to believe it.
Let’s look at the meaning of the definitions of the word believe:
- Modern definition: Be·lieve—to accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of.
- Original definition: Old English—to have faith or confidence.
Examples
Rules work as buffers and guideposts, which are self-chosen for your benefit and highest good.
- If you can do it in five minutes, do it now.
- “Easier to maintain and sustain than regain.”
- Do all you can today to the best of your ability, but do not do tomorrow's work.
