General Rules for the Game

There are three general rules for playing the Game of Life:

1. Always put yourself first.
2. Do your part.
3. See it to believe it.

Let’s look at the meaning of the definitions of the word believe:

• Modern definition: Be·lieve—to accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of.
• Original definition: Old English—to have faith or confidence.

Examples

Rules work as buffers and guideposts, which are self-chosen for your benefit and highest good.

• If you can do it in five minutes, do it now.
• “Easier to maintain and sustain than regain.”
• Do all you can today to the best of your ability, but do not do tomorrow's work.
