Like attracts like. You must elevate your Game so that those at higher levels recognize your value and reach down to pull you up. This is one of the most generous gifts you can receive in life. When someone more advanced in the Game gives you a hand up, it can help you skip entire Gameboards.
This has happened to me several times. I’ve been blessed to know the right things at the right time, catching the attention of those levels—or even games—ahead of me. They took an interest in my success because of the effort I was putting into my growth.
People at the top had to sacrifice and work hard, just like you will. When they see someone giving it their all, it resonates. They remember what it felt like to be in your shoes, and they help. And because this has always been done for me, I strive to do it for others—though I’ve learned it’s a serious gift that should only be given to those who truly deserve it. If given to the wrong person, it can leave you feeling depleted.
