Filming Yourself
In today’s digital age, filming yourself has become increasingly common. While it may seem like a simple act of documentation, it holds tremendous potential for self-reflection and personal growth. I still remember the early days back in 2017 when I felt nervous on camera, stuttering and self-conscious. Looking back now, I find it endearing and a testament to how far I’ve come. In my course, I stress the importance of creating feedback loops through self-observation, like filming yourself, to encourage reflection and improvement.
By capturing moments on camera, you can review and analyze your actions, mannerisms, and communication style. This process allows you to spot areas for improvement, refine your skills, and become more aware of how you present yourself to others. Watching yourself on video can reveal things you may not notice in the moment, offering a unique perspective on your growth and development.
