Adjusting Your Location
If you strategize a move, calculate your new location by determining all the above location considerations in the new location. At the same time, aim to better align the location with your values, goals, and general direction on your Gameboard.
Another consideration is that adjusting your location can cost you resources you’ve already spent in your current/past location. As you make significant investments in your Game, consider future moves to other locations. Ask yourself, “Is it wise to invest these resources while I'm in my current location, or is it better resource allocation to reserve these resources for the move?”
Your final location consideration is whether the actual location move itself has direct costs associated with it. Calculate what resources—time, money, opportunities—it will cost you to get there. In total, what resources will you give up to get to the new location? In addition to calculating monetary and time costs, do an opportunity cost calculation.
I acknowledge that it is not practical for everyone to change their location. It is not always an immediately available option to change your location. That's OK. It’s why you have a long-term strategy. It is not available YET. But you can begin strategizing toward it.
