Use the Things You Buy
I used to be the type of person who would buy something really nice and then never use it. I would buy beautiful shoes, store them, and never want to ruin them, saving them for some magical day that would be worthy of them. Never wanting to get my truck dirty or put miles on it. Surprisingly enough, this is a sign of a scarcity mindset, the complete opposite of having an abundance mindset. It trains the brain and tells the Universe that you believe if you use those things, there will not be more of them. Instead, use the things you own, get pleasure and joy out of the things you buy—I mean that's the whole reason you bought them in the first place, right? And watch how much more abundance flows your way.
Don’t save things for a special occasion; today is the special occasion. You woke up again and get another shot to win. Use everything you have for today and show the Universe that you believe and trust more is coming.
Many of you have a habit of storing away special items for that elusive “someday.” You buy beautiful clothes, fancy dishes, or lovely stationery and store them, waiting for a special occasion that often never comes. This mindset delays joy and pleasure, placing value on the future at the expense of the present. You should treat every day as special enough to use your “special things.”
