You’re not doing the inner work so you can be more likable, lovable, tolerable, acceptable. You’re healing so you never again betray yourself just to be picked.

The old version of you? She would’ve tolerated crumbs.
She would’ve bent over backwards to be enough.
She would’ve stayed in places where her presence was a burden.
But the healed version? She chooses alignment over attachment. She doesn’t need to be chosen — because she remembers she’s the chooser.

This healing is not about becoming better for them.
It’s about becoming clear for you.
Clear on your worth.
Clear on your boundaries.
Clear on your calling.
Clear on your no — and not needing to explain it.

Let’s talk real. When you’re unhealed, your choices aren’t yours — they’re your wounds in motion. You pick people from your abandonment. You stay in jobs out of fear. You’ve activated your discernment. You’re no longer impressed by what used to seduce you. You don’t mistake access for intimacy anymore. You don’t confuse being needed with being valued. And that alone? That’s liberation.

Let me say this: healing is not glow-up culture.
Healing is gutting.
It’s crying in silence.
It’s rewriting the programs your childhood wrote in ink.
It’s sitting with grief that doesn’t have words.
It’s choosing to walk away from what feels good — because it’s not good for you.

And you don’t do that for applause.
You do it so that one day you wake up, look at your life, your relationships, your home, your circle — and know every piece of it was chosen from alignment, not trauma.

You don’t want just love — you want safe love.
You don’t want just a career — you want soul work.
You don’t want just peace — you want earned clarity.

That’s what you’re healing for.
Not to be chosen.
But to finally choose like the healed version of you would.
