Creation By Default
Let’s talk about Creation by Default and how it might be messing with your life. You’ve probably heard it before: “Think happy thoughts.” Thoughts become your words. Well, for me, that wasn’t enough to change my thinking. But as soon as I learned about Creation by Default, you better believe I was quick to shift my thoughts and words as a result anytime I felt triggered.
Here’s a secret tip to help you eliminate negative thinking fast: Whatever you think about, you bring to life. If you catch yourself imagining something horrible, let that thought be your trigger. Stop and consciously say, “I don’t want to create that, so I’m stopping it right now.” This works far better than trying to force yourself to “think happy thoughts.” Instead, focus on the fact that you have the power to choose your thoughts. Recognize what you don’t want, and redirect your energy toward something intentional. Stop it before the thought becomes a seed that you plant with your words. Stop the thought before it becomes your words and you will avoid creation by default.
We are vibrational beings, constantly being "responded to." What you put out energetically is what you get back. Sometimes, though, you "put out" by accident. This can happen in several ways—maybe through the careless use of words or by dwelling on things you don’t want. Think of it like renouncing yourself BEFORE you even speak it. Catch it early and prevent it from ever taking root.
Creating by default means unintentionally reinforcing neural pathways or behaviors that perpetuate a life you don’t actually want. For instance, if you keep telling yourself you’re tired or sick, you’ll trigger your body to create exhaustion or illness. The words you use, especially those following “I,” are declarations. When you say “I am,” you’re making a claim. Be mindful not to claim what you don’t want.
Many people are trapped in cycles—reliving old stories, habits, and thought patterns. Why? Because they keep thinking about them. This perpetuates those cycles, embedding them deeper into their reality. Most people don’t realize how powerful they are. They unintentionally create worlds that don’t serve them, unaware that a simple shift in thought and word could lead to a whole new reality.
Miss-Creation is often why you’re getting what you DON’T want.
How do you miscreate? By putting energy into thoughts and words that fuel what you don’t want. When you focus on the negative, you feed it. What you expect begins to manifest. Your expectations, combined with the energy of your words and thoughts, become self-fulfilling.
The key is to create consciously. Shift your focus. Speak with intention. Know that every thought and word is a building block in the reality you’re creating. Whether you realize it or not, you are shaping your world with each word choice you make.
