Jenga Affirmations

Write out your affirmations on flashcards that you can grab in times of needing an extra remind of who you are and where you are going

Exercise

Transforming affirmations into a game using a Jenga set can be a fun and engaging way to reinforce positive thoughts and intentions. This exercise will help you internalize your affirmations in a playful and interactive manner. Here’s how to create and play Jenga Affirmations:

Materials Needed:

  • A Jenga set
  • Printed affirmations
  • Scissors
  • Tape

Instructions:

  1. Print and Cut Out Affirmations:
    • Create a list of affirmations that you want to internalize. For example, “I am confident,” “I attract abundance,” “I am healthy and strong,” etc.
    • Print out these affirmations and cut them into strips. Each strip should fit onto a Jenga piece.
  2. Attach Affirmations to Jenga Pieces:
    • Using tape, attach one affirmation to the top of each Jenga piece. Ensure that the tape is secure and the affirmation is clearly visible.
  3. Set Up the Jenga Tower:
    • Stack the Jenga pieces as you normally would to build the Jenga tower.
  4. Invite a Like-Minded Friend to Play:
    • This game is more enjoyable and effective when played with someone who shares similar goals and values. Invite a friend to join you in playing the game.
  5. Play the Game:
    • Take turns removing a Jenga piece from the tower. As you remove a piece, read the affirmation out loud and reflect on its meaning.
    • Discuss with your friend how the affirmation relates to your goals and how you can incorporate it into your daily life.
    • Continue playing until the tower falls. The game can be repeated as often as you like.
  6. Reflect and Integrate:
    • After playing the game, take a few moments to reflect on the affirmations and their impact on your mindset.
    • Consider keeping the affirmations in a visible place where you can read them regularly, further reinforcing their positive effects.

Benefits of Jenga Affirmations:

  • Engagement: Turning affirmations into a game makes the process more engaging and enjoyable.
  • Repetition: Regularly playing the game reinforces the affirmations in your subconscious mind.
  • Reflection: Integrate by discussing the statements as you pull them.

By integrating affirmations into a fun activity like Jenga, you can make the practice of positive thinking more enjoyable and impactful. Give it a try and watch how it enhances your mindset and supports your goals!
