Law of Assumption vs. Law of Attraction

Everyone always focuses on the Law of Attraction, and yes, you should. It is powerful AND there is an equally powerful Law of the Universe you can and should harness when setting and affirming affirmations: the Law of Assumption. ASSUMING it is coming. To believe is to see, which means you must believe, which means you must ASSUME it is coming. You must assume that what you summon IS coming running to you! Let’s go over the two Laws and the differences so you are crystal clear on how both work and why you want to use both.

Law of Attraction suggests that your thoughts, feelings, and vibrations attract similar energy into your life. By focusing on what you want and maintaining a positive mindset, you align yourself with the frequency of your desires, drawing them into reality.

Core Idea: "Like attracts like."

Process:

  • Clarity of Desire
  • Visualization and Affirmation
  • Maintain Positivity
  • Take Inspired Action
  • Trust the Process
  • Focus

Law of Assumption is rooted in the belief that your assumptions, not just your feelings, dictate your reality. You act as though your desire is already fulfilled, and this state of certainty manifests your desired outcome.

Core Idea: "What you assume to be true becomes your reality."

Process:

  • Decide on Your Desired Reality: Choose the reality you want to experience.
  • Assume It’s Already True: Live in the mental state of "it is done." You think, feel, and behave as though your goal is already achieved.
  • Persist in the Assumption: Regardless of external circumstances, maintain unwavering faith in your assumption.
  • Reality Conforms: Reality adjusts to reflect your persistent inner assumption.
Focus: Inner certainty and mental state are central.

Practical Example: Manifesting a Dream Job

  • Law of Attraction: You visualize yourself working the dream job, feel the joy of achieving it, and maintain a high-vibration energy to attract it. You take inspired actions like applying for roles and networking, trusting the Universe to align opportunities.
  • Law of Assumption: You assume the job is already yours. You act, think, and feel as though you are already employed in the dream role, persisting in this assumption until it materializes.

Both laws are effective and should be used and harnessed—not just the Law of Attraction, which you have likely always been taught.
