What is the RAS?

A network of neurons located in the brainstem. you can influence what your RAS brings to your attention, thereby shaping your reality.

The neurons of your RAS play a key role in arousal, consciousness, and filtering sensory inputs. Your RAS sorts stimuli for you. When you're walking around every day, your brain is processing so many stimuli. Because there is so much, in fact, only about forty of every 11 million stimuli make it into your registered perception at any given time. Think about that for a minute: there are 11 million pieces of information around you, and only forty are actually getting registered and brought to your attention. You can train WHAT pieces of information are brought to your attention—you hold the power to train your RAS. The RAS cannot possibly highlight all the information. Instead, it takes in all the information while only sorting forward some of it—the stuff it already knows or thinks you need to know.

Your RAS is a part of the brain that filters information to focus on what's important to you. By focusing on positive affirmations and visualizing yourself achieving your goals as you say and hear your affirmations, you can activate your RAS to help you notice opportunities and resources that align with your goals.

Repetition trains your RAS to sort stimuli that you want to see more of to the front of your perception. Pair training your RAS with the Law of Assumption, and you will speed up the summoning process.
