WHAT ARE ENERGY CORDS?

Many of us are walking around feeling depleted and do not know why, an unexplained lethargy and sudden dips in energy out of nowhere. This is the result of energy cords and who is connected to us, these connections have the ability to drain our vitality.

(Sometimes called ethereal or etheric cords) are connective tubes that allow the transmission of information, energy, and emotion between spirits (Holy & Human).

Back to those depleted feelings, do you ever not feel like yourself? Feel drained for no reason? Tired, yet you can’t explain it? Your energy may be being drained by another individual. Ok, I know we have all heard of energy vampires, but I bet you thought this term was referencing someone only in your physical presence. People can cord into us energetically even when they are not with us. This is why I pay attention to who I surround myself with.

Energy cords are spiritual contracts. When we are connecting/exchanging with people, we cord into them. This is how two people come to a mutual overstanding of a shared experience. The more intimate and or longer the connection, the stronger the cord will be. When someone thinks about you or an experience they had with you constantly – good or bad – they can cord into you. The more the person focuses on you, the stronger the cord will become. As you might imagine not all cords are something you want to welcome. At times, cords can be intrusive to the point of causing physical pain, including headaches, stomach pain, or back pain.
